The Biggest Predatory Dinosaur
The well-maintained occupied remains allowed paleontologists to understand the anatomy and the way of life of the spynosaur (Spinosaurus aegyptiacus), the largest damsel (15 metres long), the size of the superior tyrannosaur and the giant osaurus. A new study is presented in the Science journal.
Lived spinosaurs during the meal period in the current North Africa. The remains of the lizards were first found by the German paleontologist, Ernst Stromer, in 1915, but the local paleontological museum, where they were stored, was destroyed during the raid of British aircraft on Munich in 1944. Nizar Ibrahim (Nizar Ibrahim) and his colleagues have established a three-dimensional numerical valley model based on a relatively complete skeleton found in the geological formation of Kem Kem in Morocco: skull, spine, pelvis, lower limbs.
Scientists claim that Spinosaurus aegyptiacus had a half-seater lifestyle, like some crocodiles. For this reason, his anatomy was largely unusual for the dinosaur: the nostrils moved to the middle of the skull (to avoid being underwater), the enormous teeth of the conical shape went to the front end of the face of the face (this helped to grab the fish), the centre of gravity moved forward, making it difficult to walk and easily swim. Like the first cetaceans, small pelvis and muscular hips helped the lizard to swim, and the wide-ranging paws were adapted not to land, but to move along the dirt (on four laps) and water heat.
