Types and history of detection

History is confusing, because it's a lot of names of the same kind. But we'll try to turn this club into chronological sequence.

The first amalgamation of the allosaurus was found in 1869 in the middle park near Granby (Colorado State, USA). The locals described them as horses. They were purchased from the miners and described by Ferdinand Vandiver Hyden.

The scholar then sent a sample to Joseph Leidi, anatomy professor at the University of Pennsylvan, who identified him as half the tail vertebra. Prior to that, he listed the particulars of the already known European nature of theropods of pychilopleuron valens, but then several versions of the Latin were used. Afterwards, he moved him into a separate species, anthrodemus. It is now clear, however, that these were the primary remains of the Allosaurov representative.

The same official name and full description was given by Charles Mash in 1877, based on a copy of YPM 1930 found by his assistant Benjamin Maji in the now famous Morrison form, and more specifically in the Sadow Park area in the north of Canyon City (Colorado State, USA).

The name of the kind was encrypted at the beginning of the article, and the view of the fragilis means "great." This has to do with the light building of the predator's spines.
